Overview

The summary page displays the total amount of your transactions and their revenue for all supported payment methods by Blink and the most recent batches funded by your acquiring bank.

Summary tiles

The Summary has 6 Sections:

  • Total: This is the total amount from all the different transaction types combined together.

    • Card Payments: Total ofTake A Payment via Requested Payments, Batch Payments and Blink Pages

    age has several tiles showing data from your different payment types:

    Blink card payments

    Card terminals

    Mobile app

    Total of all card transactions that customers have paid

    via card on The page will show the totals for today's transactions

    on Blink and payments from websites that are integrated with Blink.

  • Open Banking: Total of all Requested Payments and Blink Pages that customers have paid via Open Banking.

  • Direct Debit: Total of all payments taken via Requested Payments and Blink Pages that customers have paid out via our direct debit partnership with GoCardless.

  • Integrated Payments: This is made up of all card payments that have been made through a Blink integration (e.g. Ecommerce Sites).

  • Mobile App: Total of all Card Payments taken using the Blink Mobile App linked with an external pinpad device.

    • Further Actions

    The total of all card-present transactions that customers have paid from physical terminals. Available only for merchants using AIB as their acquirer.

    All card transactions

    Open banking

    Direct Debit

    Total of all card transactions, including all from Blink, card terminals and other payment gateways.

    Total of all open banking payments that customers have paid on a Blink page or via requested payments.

    Total of all Direct Debit payments that have been paid. Processed by Requested payments, Blink pages or the Take a payment page.

    Info

    The card terminals and All card transaction sections are only updated once the acquirer funds them, so it may take a few days for transactions to be counted. Amex card transactions are not included.

    Most recent funded batches

    This section displays information about the three most recent funding batches that the acquirer has funded. You can view the date on which the funds were transferred and the corresponding amount. If you click on a batch, you will be directed to the Bank reconciliation page, where you can review a detailed breakdown of the payments that were included in that batch.

    • The page displays today's transaction totals* (see note), but you can edit the date filter to your preferred date range.

    The Card terminals and "All card transactions sections will display data from the previous day since the data is dependent on bank reconciliation. Once you apply the date filter, all sections will cover the same period.
