Tap to Pay - Android (external)

This guide will cover using the Blink payment Tap to Pay app to take a new payment and report on the transaction.

Taking a payment

1. After logging the merchant will need to select ‘Connect reader’ on the landing page. This connects the users device to Stripe to allow them to take payments (this can be slow the first time).

2. After successfully connecting, the you will be able create a new payment. There are 2 fields that need to be completed, an amount and a reference. (The reference is not mandatory)

3. The amount needs to be between £0.30 and £100.

Reporting on a transaction

1. After successfully completing a transaction, it will appear within the Blink card transactions page.

2. Each transaction will have a date/time stamp, card info, reference, amount and status.

3. You can refund a TTP transaction by selecting the action button and then refund. This can be a partial amount above £1.
