Overview

The Batch Requests feature gives the ability to send multiple Payment Requests simultaneously by uploading a CSV file. This feature is currently exclusively available with £ pounds and SALE Requests.

Navigation

You can find Batch Requests under the Payment tab on the left-hand navigation bar (Payments → Process a Batch Payment). Select Batch requests from the drop-down menu. (Find out more about Batch Payments here).

How does it work?

Within the Take a Batch Payment section, you can upload new Payment Request Batches and view your Batch History.

Batch upload

Once you have chosen Batch Requests from the drop-down menu. Select your merchant ID.

You can download a template file using the

Download the CSV Template button. A template will download consisting of 5 columns: Customer Name, Customer Email, Amount, Reference and notes.

Filling in the template & Upload

Fill in the template and save it. (You can save it with a relevant name, e.g. Jan '22 Batch).

Your file is now ready to be uploaded. Select the MID you want to send the Requests from. And choose which payment options you want to give your customers.

All recipients will receive the same payment method options.

Select 'Choose file' and choose your filled-out template on the Batch Request page, then press 'upload file'.

Reviewing your upload & Sending Payment Requests

Once the file is uploaded,  Blink will display a batch summary showing all individual Requests details. You can either send all requests in one go or send/cancel individual requests.

Batch History

You can find an overview of all your uploaded and sent Payment Requests on the Batch History page. Make sure you select Batch Request.  Clicking on View Batch Paylinks will take you to a status report of the individual requests. You can track individual links on the Requested Payment page.
