Blink
Navigate to the My Blink Pages page under the Customer Centre section. Choose which Blink Page you want to link to Xero and copy the URL. Click on edit page to navigate to the Customiser.
Add Blink to an invoice template
Sign in to your Xero account on a separate tab and click on your organisation name, select Settings, then click Payment services.
Select Additional Payment Services - Add Other and click on Custom Payment URL. A pop up will show up where you can fill in Blink Page details. You can find your Blink Page details on the Blink platform.
Automatically pre-populate fields
To pre-populate, the fields on the Blink Page make sure the URL Descriptors on Blink match the ones on Xero.
Once filled in you will be able to find Blink under your connected payment services. Click on manage themes and select Blink under the Credit Card option and click save.
Add Blink to your invoice
Once you have added Blink as your standard payment service it will be automatically applied to invoices using the template.
Fill in your invoice as required, and send it off.
Once added, Xero will automatically add a Pay Now button on the online invoice. You can then email the invoice to the customer who uses this button to pay you via the payment service. They don’t need to have a Xero login to do this.
In classic invoicing, you can do this from an approved invoice or a repeating invoice template. In new invoicing, do this from a draft or approved template.
Reporting
Xero
When a customer pays you online, Xero marks the invoice as paid (you don't receive an alert or notification). Xero displays the transaction reference ID from the payment gateway in the transaction's Reference field.
Blink
Within Blink, you will be able to view the payments within the relevant payment methods under Reporting.
