Overview

The Summary page shows you the total amount of your transactions and their revenue for all the payment methods that are supported by Blink, as well as the most recent batches funded to you from your acquiring bank.

Summary

Navigation

To access the summary page, either select Summary on the dashboard or navigate to Summary under Reporting on the left-hand navigation bar.

Summary Tiles

The Summary has several tiles, showing data from your different payment types:

  1. Blink Card Payments: Total of all card transactions that customers have paid on Blink, as well as payments from websites that are integrated with Blink.

  2. Card Terminals: The total of all card-present transactions that customers have paid from physical terminals. Available only for merchants using AIB as their acquirer. (

  3. Mobile App: Total of all Card Payments taken using the Blink Mobile App linked with an external pinpad device.

  4. All Card Transactions: Total of all card transactions, including all from Blink, card terminals and other payment gateways.

  5. Open Banking: Total of all Open Banking payments that customers have paid on a Blink page or via Requested Payments.

  6. Direct Debit: Total of all direct debit payments that have been paid, either those processed by Requested Payments, Blink Pages or Take a payment.

The Card Terminals and All Card Transactions are only updated when they are funded by the acquirer, so it may take a few days for transactions to be counted. They do not include Amex card transactions.

Recent Batches

This shows the 3 most recent batches that have been funded by the acquirer. You can see the date the money was funded as well as the amount. Clicking on the batch will redirect you to the Bank Reconciliation page, where you can see a breakdown of the payments that made up the batch.

Further Actions

  • Filter your transactions - The page will show the totals for today's transactions* (see note) but you can edit the date filter to your preferred date range.

“Card Terminals” and “All Card Transactions” boxes will have data from the day prior as the data is depending on Bank Reconsiliation. Once you use the date filter all boxes will be covering the same period of time.

  • Redirect - Clicking on a tile will redirect you to their individual transaction history page, where you can see a more detailed view of each transaction.

“card terminal” and “ALL card” boxes (the ones getting their data from bank recon) will always be a day behind (we tell them the most recent transaction date that those boxes are actually totaling)

when the date filter is being used, all boxes will be covering the same period
