Overview

The Customiser is a helpful tool that allows enables you to personalize customise your Blink page(s) and Merchant shop for each MID according to in accordance with your preferences. Any changes Whenever you make any changes to your Merchant shop, it will affect Requested payments (Payment links) and the " Take a payment " page, including card types and currencies. You can edit both the cosmetic changes and functional settings using the Customiser.

Navigation

Visit Access the Customiser in the Customer centre. Alternatively, access it by clicking click "edit" on the My Blink pages page for the desired Blink page.

How does it work?

Visual customisation

We have separated split the customisation page into settings for the merchant shop (Individual MID) and for individual Blink Pagespages.

Merchant shop settings

Any changes made to these settings will apply to all payments made in this shop, including payment methods and currencies, as well as visual customizations customisations like the logo and footer on the receipt.

Info

A Merchant Shop shop is the MID (e.g. 123456 - My shop) that you select when processing a payment. Any changes made to this will be reflected on the Blink Page, Request a Paymentpayment, Take a Payment payment and Batch Paymentspayments.

Logo

To add your company's logo to your shop, first select start by selecting the relevant shop and then . Then, click on the "Add logo" icon. This will prompt you to upload an image. Once After the image is uploaded, click on " Update " to add the logo across the payment options within the Merchant shop. You can use any image type (such as PNG, JPG, JPEG, GIF ) and any size you want. However, but we recommend keeping it to 200px x 200px for the best results.

Note

If you don't do not upload a logo, Blink Shop will use the default portal logo (as specified in Settings) will be used by Blink shop. This may cause pixilation settings. However, this may cause pixelation issues if the portal logo is too small.

Background colour

The Change colour Color icon enables allows you to modify the background colour of your Blink Shop. Click on the icon and pick choose a colour color from the options available choices. You may can either pick select a colour color or manually enter the RGB values manually.

Settings (Merchant shop)

On the settings page, you will find two areas, payment settings and receipt settings.

Under the payment settings tab, you can change various payment settings such as the currencies your shop accepts (if applicable).

Info

When you create a merchant account with us, we will ask you to select the currencies in which you would like to process transactions. If you need to add more currencies, you can contact our support team for assistance. Once your additional currencies have been added, you can turn them ON or OFF for each merchant shop as needed.

Choose which card logos you would like to display. Contact our support team if you want to change the cards you accept.

In the receipt settings tab, you can:

In the Receipt setting tab, you have the ability to add a custom footer and phone number that will appear at the bottom of receipts for your merchant shop. The email address you enter in this section will be used to send receipts by default. However, it's important to note that you can override this email address with the receipts options under Payment preferences within the My account section.

You can use the Receipt redirect URL to redirect customers to a website of your choice after completing their payment. Additionally, you can set a time frame for the redirection using the Receipt redirect timeout (in seconds).

Make sure you click on Save within the merchant shop settings.

Settings for individual Blink pages

These settings are specifically for the individual blink pages, not for their parent merchant shops. You can amend and select individual pages by clicking on more if you have multiple Blink Pages.

Opening Hours

This feature allows you to display your business hours to customers. To do so, simply click on the "Openings hours" icon and input the hours you are available. Additionally, you can also add your contact details such as email and phone number so that customers can easily reach out to you.

Banner

To add a banner to the footer of your Blink page, click on the 'Add a Banner' icon and upload an image. You can upload any image type (PNG, JPG, JPEG, GIF) and any size, but we suggest keeping it at 610px x 140px. Once you have uploaded the image, click on the 'Update' button. If you want to change or remove the banner, you can do so anytime. You can also change or remove the banner.

Note

Once you have made any changes, please click the Submit button to confirm the changes.


Modify Fields

Customize the fields on your Blink page to better track payments for your business.

Visibility

If you don't need the reference or description fields, you have the option to hide them.

Required

You have the ability to choose which fields are mandatory for the customer to complete.

Readonly

If you are using URL descriptors, you can mark certain fields as readonly. Blink3sixty.co.uk/testclothingstore?amount=10), so the customer can’t change it.

Display Name

You have the flexibility to customize field names and gather specific information from customers. For instance, you can change Reference to Invoice Reference, Description to Message, or Full Name to Company Name.

URL Descriptor

Using custom URL descriptors, Enhanced URLs can prepopulate specific fields on Blink pages.

Settings

In the settings tab, you can edit the URL slug of the page and what Payment types you want to allow your customers to pay you with.
