Customiser
Overview
The Customiser is a helpful tool that enables you to customise your Blink page(s) and Merchant shop for each MID in accordance with your preferences. Whenever you make any changes to your Merchant shop, it will affect Requested payments (Payment links) and the Take a payment page, including card types and currencies. You can edit both the cosmetic changes and functional settings using the Customiser.

How does it work?
Visual customisation
We have split the customisation page into settings for the merchant shop (Individual MID) and individual Blink pages.
Merchant shop settings
Any changes made to these settings will apply to all payments made in this shop, including payment methods and currencies, as well as visual customisations like the logo and footer on the receipt.
A Merchant shop is the MID (e.g. 123456 - My shop) that you select when processing a payment. Any changes made to this will be reflected on the Blink Page, Request a payment, Take a payment and Batch payments.
Â
Add logo
To add your company's logo to your shop, start by selecting the relevant shop. Then, click on the "Add logo" icon. This will prompt you to upload an image. After the image is uploaded, click on Update to add the logo across the payment options within the Merchant shop. You can use any image type such as PNG, JPG, JPEG, GIF and any size you want. However, we recommend keeping it to 200px x 200px for the best results.
If you do not upload a logo, Blink Shop will use the default portal logo specified in settings. However, this may cause pixelation issues if the logo is too small.

Background colour
The Change Color icon allows you to modify the background of your Blink Shop. Click on the icon and choose a color from the options available. You can either select a color or manually enter the RGB values.

Settings (Merchant shop)
On the settings page, you will find two areas: payment settings and receipt settings.
Under the payment settings tab, you can change various payment settings, such as the currencies your shop accepts (if applicable).
When you create a merchant account with us, we will ask you to select the currencies you want to process transactions. You can contact our support team for assistance if you need to add more currencies. Once your additional currencies have been added, you can turn them ON or OFF for each merchant shop as needed.
Choose which card logos you would like to display. Contact our support team if you want to change the cards you accept.
In the receipt settings tab, you can:
In the Receipt setting tab, you have the ability to add a custom footer and phone number that will appear at the bottom of receipts for your merchant shop. The email address you enter in this section will be used to send receipts by default. However, it's important to note that you can override this email address with the receipts options under Payment preferences within the My account section.
You can use the Receipt redirect URL to redirect customers to a website of your choice after completing their payment. Additionally, you can set a time frame for the redirection using the Receipt redirect timeout (in seconds).
Make sure you click on Save within the merchant shop settings.

Settings for individual Blink pages

Banner
To add a banner to the footer of your Blink page, click on the 'Add a Banner' icon and upload an image.
