What is classified as considered a change of legal entity?

A change of legal entity is where there is a change to when the entity which is financially and legally that’s responsible for those the activities performed under UKAS accreditation (United Kingdom Accreditation Service)undergoes a change, financially and legally.

If you are changing change your legal entity, we will submit a new application to the bank and obtain a fresh merchant ID. Once it is live and everything (, such as assets, and gateways) , is transferred and the new account is live, the old account can be closed to prevent further avoid additional charges. Please note that there is a £250 admin fee per new merchant account.
