Change of legal entity
What is considered a change of legal entity?
A change of legal entity is when the entity that’s responsible for the activities performed under UKAS accreditation undergoes a change, financially and legally.
If you change your legal entity, we will submit a new application to the bank and obtain a fresh merchant ID. Once everything, such as assets, and gateways, is transferred and the new account is live, the old account can be closed to avoid additional charges. Please note that there is a £250 admin fee per new merchant account.
Please confirm the answers for the below questions for each of your new merchant IDs, with your account manager. If you are unsure, please contact support@blinkpayment.co.uk for confirmation.
