Schedule reports


Overview

Save time by scheduling reports to be emailed to you daily, weekly, monthly, or as custom reports using saved searches.

Use these reports to get an overview of your business performance or a detailed analysis of specific payment types.

Navigation

To schedule a report, go to Reporting > Blink Card transactions on the left-hand navigation bar.

 

Setting up a schedule

Filter your transactions on the Blink card transactions page and save the search.

Once you have saved a report, the Schedule reports option will appear next to the Export to CSV button.

Once you click on Schedule Reports, a pop-up will come up where you can select a saved report. Once selected, you can set the frequency and add the email to which you would like to send the report. Click Save report to activate the scheduling.

Frequency

If you have chosen a daily schedule - the date filter will automatically be set to yesterday’s transactions, weekly is the last seven days, and monthly, the last 30 days or last month’s.

 

 

 

You can enter as many emails as you like; however, please note that the recipient needs a Blink account to download the report.

Please note date filters do not work when you schedule a report.

 

 

On the days you set your report to be sent, the email recipients will receive an email at 6 AM GMT/BST with a link to view the report. The link will open the blink reports page with the filtered results. You can then download the report by clicking Export to CSV.


Editing scheduled reports

Click Schedule reports and pick the saved search you want to edit to change a schedule. The pop-up will prefill the schedule with what was set before. Change the schedule and click Save reports.

You can also select saved searches, select a search and then edit the schedule button.

You can also create and edit schedules of saved reports by going on Saved reports and clicking Edit schedule.


FAQ

Deleting reports?

If you want to delete a Blink report but are unsure which account it's being sent from, you can check the email itself. Look for the greeting phrase at the beginning of the email that says "Hi there {username}". The username mentioned in the greeting is the account name from which the report is being sent.
