A change of legal entity is when the entity that’s responsible for the activities performed under UKAS accreditation undergoes a change, financially and legally.

In case If you are changing change your legal entity, we will submit a new application to the bank and obtain a fresh merchant ID. Once everything, such as assets, and gateways, is transferred and the new account is live, the old account can be closed to avoid additional charges. Please note that there is a £250 admin fee for a CLE (Change of Legal Entity).
