What is considered a change of legal entity?
A change of legal entity is when the entity that’s responsible for the activities performed under UKAS accreditation undergoes a change, financially and legally.
In case you are changing your legal entity, we will submit a new application to the bank and obtain a fresh merchant ID. Once everything, such as assets, gateways, is transferred and the new account is live, the old account can be closed to avoid additional charges. Please note that there is a £250 admin fee for a CLE (Change of Legal Entity).
If you want to proceed with a CLE, please email us at support@blinkpayment.co.uk with your merchant ID, your request in the subject line, and the information below:
Company registration number.
The company’s legal entity name.
VAT number.
Main point of contact details, i.e. name, mobile/phone number, email address.
2 Director’s DOB and residential address.

Would you like to switch over any assets, or are there any additional ones you’d like to lease, such as terminals, gateways or a new Blink Plan?

Split of MID, i.e. 90% ECOM, 5% CP, 5% CNP.
Please provide identification documents for the signatory and non-British National directors, such as a passport, driver's license, or ID card.
