What is classified as considered a change of legal entity?

A change of legal entity is where there is a change to when the entity which is financially and legally that’s responsible for those the activities performed under UKAS accreditation (United Kingdom Accreditation Service)undergoes a change, financially and legally.

If you are changing change your legal entity, we will submit a new application to the bank and obtain a fresh merchant ID. Once it is live and everything (, such as assets, and gateways) , is transferred and the new account is live, the old account can be closed to prevent further avoid additional charges. Please note that there is a £250 Admin Fee for a CLE. Please contact us at admin fee per new merchant account.

Please confirm the answers for the below questions for each of your new merchant IDs, with your account manager. If you are unsure, please contact support@blinkpayment.co.uk with your merchant ID and your request in the subject, along with the below information: for confirmation.

1. Company registration number.

2. Company’s The company’s legal entity name.

3. VAT number.

4. Main point of contact details, i.e. name, mobile/phone number, email address.

5. 2 director’s DOB Director’s date of birth and residential address.

6. Trading name Name for the new MID MID.

7. Trading address Address for MID MID. 

8. Proof of banking, i.e., a bank statement that shows the date, company legal name, sort code and , account number, IBAN and IBAN. 

9. Proof of trading address, i.e. utility bill showing business trading name and address.

10. Business annual turnover.

11. CTO (Card turnoverTurnover).

12. ATV – average transaction valueAny assets required(Average Transaction Value).

13. Would you like to switch over any assets, or are there any additional ones you’d like to lease, such as terminals, gatewaygateways or a new Blink plan?

14. Confirmation of MID type - ECOMeCommerce, Card Present, Card Not Presentcard present, card not present?

15. Split of MID, i.e. 90% ECOM, 10% Card PresentID 5% CP, 5% CNP.

16. Please provide identification documents for the signatory and any directors that are not British Nationals - this can be non-British national directors, such as a passport, driving licence driver's license, or ID card.
