What is classified as a change of legal entity?
A change of legal entity is where there is a change to the entity which is financially and legally responsible for those activities performed under UKAS accreditation (United Kingdom Accreditation Service).
If you are changing your legal entity, we will submit a new application to the bank and obtain a fresh merchant ID. Once it is live and everything (such as assets, gateways) is transferred, the old account can be closed to prevent further charges.
Please note there is a £250 Admin Fee for a CLE.
