Password for terminal settings is: pax9876@@

WiFi Log In

  • Select the three horizontal lines in the top right hand corner of the screen

  • Second option down is WiFi Settings

  • Select ‘On’ via the switch

  • Navigate to the desired WiFi Network

  • Enter password

  • Click connect

 

Testing Connection to Bank

  • On the Main Menu tab select ‘Test Acquiring Connection’

  • Complete a test transaction; steps can be found in the below guide on how to complete this

 

Terminal Functionality

EOD Reports

  • End of Day Reports need to be completed manually on this device; this will ensure your payments batch and you receive them into your depositing account regularly

  • This can be done by going to the Admin Panel (second tab along) and selecting Z Report/End of Day

 

Screen Time Out

  • Select the three horizontal lines

  • Navigate to Display Settings

  • The third option down is ‘Sleep’ - the default is set to 1 minute

  • Here you can select from a multitude of options i.e. 15 seconds, 5 minutes, 30 minutes, never

 

SIM Activation

All PAX terminals come with a SIM, however this is not necessarily going to be active.
